Inflation-based price increases without an extraordinary right of termination breach the Unfair Competition Act. Sunrise must also accept written cancellations again and may not restrict them to phone or chat. The ruling has signal effect for Swisscom and Salt, which use similar clauses. It is not yet legally binding, as Sunrise is appealing to the cantonal high court.
