From August 1, 2026, Sunrise is raising the base rates of all mobile and Internet subscriptions by CHF 1.50 per month. For combo subscriptions, the effective increase is CHF 0.75 per additional subscription. Affected customers have a special termination right until July 31, 2026.

Court rules Sunrise contract clauses unlawful
In late April 2026 the Zurich District Court declared two clauses in Sunrise's terms and conditions unlawful. Inflation-based price increases without an extraordinary right of termination breach the Unfair Competition Act. Sunrise must also accept written cancellations again and may not restrict them to phone or chat. The ruling has signal effect for Swisscom and Salt, which use similar clauses. It is not yet legally binding, as Sunrise is appealing to the cantonal high court.

Salt adjusts mobile plans and expands roaming offer
Salt increases prices for selected SIM-only mobile plans by CHF 1 to CHF 2 per month as of 1 June 2026. At the same time, the roaming offer is expanded with Data DayPass in over 200 countries, new country packages and extended Europe zones. Salt Home broadband and TV subscriptions are not affected.

From 1 August 2026, Yallo will raise its mobile subscription prices. The adjustment is CHF 0.50 for the Go!, Go! Max and Go! S data subscriptions, CHF 2.00 for the BLACK, Superfat, Europe and Travel ranges, and CHF 1.00 for all other mobile subscriptions except yallo Zero. Prepaid, additional services and instalment payments are not affected. Yallo belongs to the Sunrise group and uses the Sunrise network. Affected customers will be informed in writing from 1 June 2026.

From 1 August 2026, Sunrise will raise the base fee for all mobile and internet subscriptions by CHF 1.50 per month. For multi and combo subscriptions as well as Sunrise Young, the effective increase is CHF 0.75 per additional subscription. Excluded are Prepaid, QoQa, TV subscriptions, Home Security, additional services and device instalments. Affected customers will be informed in writing from June 2026 and have an extraordinary right of termination as of 31 July 2026.
